her well, and most of her intellect I know through tales my wife tells. Church is just a few short blocks away. Sunday my wife was a little late, but she always enjoys whatever Ebara-san may say in the class.
Hayami-san had passed away. Who could he be?

Lady Ebara found the news in the ASAHI Shinbun, but the nice little detail
that the man was Christian was not in the English language online version of the story.
Our readings from the Bible at church were from the prophet Isaiah, and that
same book of the Bible would be a favorite for Mister Hayami
the former Governor of the BANK of JAPAN.
I was related at one time to someone who could confuse irony and coincidence.
That we studied Isaiah within hours of a man’s passing, and the man loved that book
may be a coincidence. The irony is that Japan is not a Christian country, but
the man with a steady hand on money policies was.
